With the end of the semester approaching, I am loaded with
projects, papers and final exam preparations. For my Philosophy class we have
one final big assignment, which is an Argumentative Essay. It is not an overall
long or difficult assignment but I want it to be something different than I normally
write. For this week’s Campus Safari I scheduled an appointment with the
Writing Center to get off on a good start with this paper. My experience was
extremely helpful. I received a few handouts with general writing tips, which can
be beneficially used in any of my classes here at SCSU. I also learned how to
make my writing more distinctive which is exactly what I wanted. The process of
everything is really simple. You can either go to the center or call ahead of
time to make an appointment. The Writing Center is located on the bottom floor
of Engleman and has different but convenient hours each day. There is no doubt
that I will take advantage of this resource any time I need some extra help on
any assignment!

Friday: 10:30-1:00
